Re-starting Carbon Copy service on a remote PC
From your own computer, do this:
Right click My Computer
Select "Manage"
Select "Action"
Select "Connect to another computer.."
Enter the full computer name (example_pc) or their IP Address
Now, you are looking at their machine so select Services and Applications
Select "Services"
Make sure that the "Altiris Carbon Copy" and "Altiris Client Service" are "started".
The user's computer needs to have this running in order for us to remote them.
These services are sometimes "not started" or not there at all. If not there at all, send to proper
support staff. If they are there, you can always try to "restart" the services and try to remote again.
